Training Times

The Pretoria Jitsu Club trains three times every week throughout the year. Our training times are:

Monday : 20h00 to 21h30

Wednesday : 20h00 to 21h30

Sunday : 15h00 to 17h00

Costs of Training

The PJC charges a fee of R150 per month for training, which includes all three sessions every week. If a student does not feel that they will be able to attend every session, but would rather pay per lesson, then this is R20 per lesson.

Unfortunately, it does cost some money to train. However, the Jitsu Foundation, and therefore the Pretoria Jitsu Club, does not teach for money. There is a minimal cost which goes towards renting of the dojo, and also helps to subsidise equipment for the club and arranging for visiting instructors from overseas. However, if the costs are prohibitive to anyone learning, then an arrangement can always be made. We're here to teach Jitsu, not make a profit...

Where do we train?

The dojo has moved to a new location with the demolition of the Hatfield Dojo. Our new premises are at the 22nd Sea Scout Hall in Waterkloof, which is on the corner of Fehrsen and Main Street.

Take Duncan Street towards Brooklyn Shopping Centre, at the large circle on the corner of Middel and Duncan, take the first exit left. Duncan Street changes here to Fehrsen. At the second traffic light after the circle, turn left into Main Street, and then left again after the small traffic circle into the parking for the Scout Hall. There is secure parking with security.
